Wes Choc grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, living there until 1965 when he joined the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam era.
Since the end of his military service in 1969 and graduation from the University of Maryland in 1970, he has lived in a dozen states across the country throughout his forty years in business working for the American Automobile Association. In 1992 he was appointed president and CEO of AAA MountainWest overseeing all business and club operations in Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska.
After retiring from AAA in 2008, he and his wife, Carol, moved to Arizona; they now live in Northwest Tucson.
